Working from a distance reduces the opportunities for hallway conversations about teaching. These short, informal sessions provided easy-to-implement tips, and opportunities to check-in with other faculty about the shift to online instruction.

Good Practice in Synchronous and Asynchronous Instruction
Teaching presence is as important, or more important, in an online learning environment. Choosing a teaching and learning approach can also raise or lower anxiety levels for both faculty and students. This session encourages faculty to discuss what they have learned about what works and how to better plan for the type of delivery that best fits the learning goal.
