Curriculum planning when developing a new program ensures students benefit from a cohesive learning experience that fosters personal growth.
Course curriculum may need to be updated as professions and disciplines evolve, and new advancements in technology arise.
Indigenizing curriculum is about transforming curriculum and teaching practices to include Indigenous ways of knowing, being, doing and relating.
Globalization involves transforming curriculum to foster a multicultural perspective and address the educational needs of a society that contains more than one set of traditions and a mixture of many cultures and races.
